Packaged in a delux large-format case, this unique collection of rare live recordings celebrates not just the genius of Red Peters but also a vibrant period in Dublin’s musical story. CD1 features Red Peters in acoustic and electric band settings, recorded at The Meeting Place, Dorset Street; Slattery’s, Capel Street; Harcourt Hotel, Harcourt Street; Purty Loft, Dun Laoghaire. CD2 is an hour-long RTE Radio Special on Red Peters from 1981, presented by PJ Curtis.  A 44-page lavishly illustrated booklet contains stories and memories of Red and his time as the ‘Guvnor’ of Dublin Blues from musicians and friends including: Fran Breen, Chris Meehan, PJ Curtis, Kevin Conneff, Gerry Doyle, Ed Deane, Pat Farrell, Johnny Moynihan and Matt Walsh.
